Team merged with Team Eager on January 23, 2016 and took their SPL spot. {{toc right}} ==History== Founded in July 2013, COGnitive Gaming (COG) was an eSports Franchise located in California. The smite team acquired was previously known as SNIPE gaming. The team competed under the name SNIPE against [[Team Dignitas]] (formerly known as ROOT) in a showmatch at RTX July 6, where they lost 2-1. They also traveled to PAX Prime 2013 where they placed 3rd, beating Reason Gaming in the 3rd place match. On December 13, 2013, COG dropped the "SNIPE" roster, and acquired what was the "XTS" roster, led by [[andinster]]. Eventually COGnitive Gaming acquired [[The Game Changers]] roster (Now [[COGnitive Red]]), and changed their original team into COGnitive Prime. On January 11, 2015, they defeated Titan 3-2 to win the 2015 Smite World Championships.
